Might it have been possible for him to have been carrying out functions in Nevada and SF over the same time period if he had air transport between the two locations? Neither survey work nor agent provocateur necessarily need to be full time. Maybe they didn't wish to pay him to lay around doing nothing during the time between surveys.

I guess that's possible, Jake. But if I am right about him being a provocateur on campus, that was necessarily prior to the commencement of the Nevada survey work. HUAC came in May. The survey work started a couple of months later. I think the idea of him not recalling working for a major catering company like Stuart Hill is absurd. But he wouldn't remember it if he didn't know that was where his provocateur pay was coming from. That said, the time frame given for the two jobs still has overlap, even moving the start of Stuart Hill back a bit.Jake_Sykes wrote:Might it have been possible for him to have been carrying out functions in Nevada and SF over the same time period if he had air transport between the two locations? Am doing some minor updates on it now. For instance, what he told Whitme about being sent of the Berlin Wall on operations was indeed absolute bullshit. He was shipped out of the army (and out of Germany) in November 1959. Work on the Berlin Wall didn't start until 1961.

Excellent essay. Crafard is quite an intriguing character. Also an Oswald look alike.

Good article.
Not sure about Grouberts other stuff that wades into debunked land but he at least does his research.

We did a lot of research together a few years ago, including on Crafard and his taste in jackets. Haven't had the time to listen to many of his podcasts since then - just a couple. We all make the occasional mistake, but I honestly do not know what you're referring to here. Can you be more specific?Garn G wrote:Good article.

The question is in good faith, but I should add in good faith that even though we rarely touch base these days, I consider Mark a friend. But he would not be my only friend who might be clinging to outdated research (if indeed, he is).
