Final set for now, thanks again to Gary Murr for these. These are drawings of the 3rd to the 7th floor, there is a page with measurements of the front steps and the pavement and a page with notes on the TSBD building's height in comparison to the DalTex building and The Records Building

Barto
Thank you (and Gary Murr) for posting these FBI graphics. I never knew they existed.
Below are links to some of the work I did on this subject several years ago, fwiw. I was going to do an online presentation, got sidetracked and never did post any of it.
My measurement estimates were calculations based primarily on the size of the decorative bricks on the front of the TSBD.
Keep up the good work - RH

HI Richard, good to see you lurking around and thanks for the feedback. I may get my hands on some more of the TSBD and around it in due course. Will pub them as well.
I cannot see the pix at these links at all. can anyone else?
If not any chance you upload them here?
4th section above this text box, first on the left.
Host and image, drag and drop the images in the pop up and click send all, then insert all.
Then click on the main forum page below the pop up and hit send.
Thanks!

I have never used photobucket but I believe they had some sort of change of policy that messed a lot of people up.barto wrote:HI Richard, good to see you lurking around and thanks for the feedback. I may get my hands on some more of the TSBD and around it in due course. Will pub them as well.

The links work from a couple computers in my house, but fail when I click the links here on the message board. The images were uploaded several years ago, so if Photobucket made some changes, that is a possibility.
There could be a problem uploading all the images to the message board server. There are a large number of images and would eat up a good chunk of storage.
I really had no plans to post this stuff until saw Barto's post with the FBI diagrams.
It all relates to establishing the height of PM. There were a couple measurements that were impossible to calculate from the old photos that had the potential to impact the calculations. The FBI drawings posted here contain the missing measurements. (The most crucial one being the width of the porch). Not sure how much value or interest there is in this work at this point.
I am going to check on the photobucket issue first, and then decide how to proceed. If anyone can suggest a more reliable service let me know.

this site uses a free image service servimg.com. If you go to the editor. If you hover over them, you'll find one saying "host an image". Upload it there. That will create a URL. Copy the URL and go to the editor ican that says insert image. Past the URL in that and it post the image.

Checked out the photobucket issue and Greg was right. At some point they cut off all third party access to images unless the owners upgraded to a more expensive plan.
I'll try out the upload image feature here and try to put some images in today.

I am now receiving error messages from servimg when I attempt to upload more images. Is there a restriction on how many I can upload?
I will wait for awhile and let the server rest, and then try again.

Not sure, Richard, but they may well have limits.Richard Hocking wrote:I am now receiving error messages from servimg when I attempt to upload more images. Is there a restriction on how many I can upload?

Good stuff though!

Still getting same error when trying to upload images. I'll try deleting some of the images and see if that frees up space.

I have created an account at ImageShack and uploaded the jpgs above and a few more. It is a trial account for 29 days so it should be accessible.
The images are all in a PM Album.
https://imageshack.com/a/mcfl/1
Unfortunately the sort order created when I am logged in does not work for visitors, so the photos appear in random order. You can see the intended sort order by looking at the titles (alphanumeric sort).
Will be adding more images hopefully tonite or tomorrow.

Added some more images and folders to the ImageShack site. Have not been able to create sub-folders within a parent folder so each folder needs a separate link.
This link is to the folder "Wiegman"
