Did David Ferrie and Jim Braden go skating together in Houston?
Thu 23 Jan 2014, 3:41 am
Jim Braden testified that he left Dallas on Nov. 22 and flew to Houston that night to meet his oil industry friends (the ones who had fled Dallas right after the assassination).
David Ferrie left New Orleans on Nov. 22 and drove to Houston that night to visit an ice-skating rink.
So both Jim Braden and David Ferrie were both in Houston, Texas on Nov. 23, the day after JFK was killed.
The ice-skating rink was at 2400 Norfolk.
Braden's hotel, the Lincoln Sheraton, was at 711 Polk Street.
According to Google Maps, these two locations are four minutes away from each other by car.
That's quite a coincidence, when you consider that their New Orleans offices were just down the hall from each other.
Braden didn't check in with his parole officer in Houston until Nov. 26th. In his testimony, he can't really pin down any business he transacted in Houston.
He can't pin down any business he transacted in Dallas either, for that matter.
So two New Orleans boys - one who knew Lee Harvey Oswald, and the other who was detained in Dealey Plaza right after the shooting, they both end up in Houston within minutes of each other 24 hours after JFK dies.
Coincidence!
