How does someone move FROM Washington DC, surrounded by reminders of our civil rights and liberties to Dallas and yet says Oswald is Officially guilty so he doesnt deserve to not have his image and memory defamed.
Since Lee never had a defense, a lawyer working for his innocence or dismissal of the case, he is guilty... is that how the new Anchor thinks it works?
So is Chris Lawrence allegedly a communist?
Id say he might defend himself against such a label, but he would be alive and able to persue that in a legal venue and would have to accept a verdict and appeal.
On the other hand they turn to Faris Rookstool, former FBI analyst as the creator of the Tippit plaque, which claims Lee MURDERED Tippit.
They use Farris' who makes the comparison that we "dont say John Wilkes Booth allegedly shot Lincoln" to say it's okay there was no trial in modern times as he has some reports that prove guilt,...
Please someone explain the legal system to Rookstool as he seems to equate FBI reports with an verdict by a judge, panel of judges or a jury.
A Verdict.
It is something Farris wont be able to produce from his stack of officially marked documents, ie toilet paper.
Farris forgets the due process aspect, but aside that, we had Booth leaping to the stage after the act, breaking his ankle before the full theater of witnesses.., and shouting death to tyrants... hardly an innocent man trial or not, this was a public execution by Booth.
Farris will find no such correlation in Oswald.
I find the whole episode by WFAA to be perverse.
So are either these television journalists communists.
I wouldn't doubt it, but it's only alledged.
Cheers, Ed
Ps please send the whole station over to the viewing room at SFM and have Fagin play the Darnell film for the lads. XOXO, Ed
