Fox News Coverage
Mon 18 Nov 2013, 6:56 am
Against my better judgment I have just turned on Fox News. I wish I hadn't.
Talk about stomach churning.
George Will has to be one of the most dismissive smarmy whoppers walking the face of the earth. "We know that Kennedy was killed by a dirty little communist" according to Will.
Bob Woodward has just said he believes Oswald was the assassin, alone, and was asked why he never wrote about the case. "For years, even up to this day, I get emails, people's questions saying 'look at this' and my answer always is 'tell me who was a member of the plot and bring them to me and I'll listen'"
What an utter douchebag!

Bob Woodward.. navy intelligence.
I never trusted him and I don't believe Watergate is what he said it was.

I have been avoiding the stomach churning. I have elected this time through to ignore it all. It's noise. After this week, it will be silence as usual. Perhaps my ostrich-like behavior is reprehensible. But I've come to expect this, and cannot be surprised by any of it. After Cronkite. Rather. Sheridan. Peter Jennings. PBS. The History Channel. O'Reilly. Matthews. I have a hard time distinguishing between martyrdom (that is, "bearing witness") and masochism in this particular context.
George Will? Just think of the stuff he wrote about the Stone movie.
For those who disagree with my attitude, please have compassion on my weak constitution (now there's a double-entendre for you).

Albert, i cracked. I have just finished watching Killing Kennedy. The most suprising aspect of this abomination is that Ridley Scott is unaware that you need to dry a turd before you polish it, otherwise you end up smeared.

I feel your pain, people.
They have a weekly one-hour programme on the Irish national ‘public service’ radio station, RTE Radio 1, called The History Show.
They announced beforehand that to mark the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination part of the programme would be devoted to Jackie Kennedy and particularly her visit to Ireland in 1967.
Isn’t that just the cat’s pyjamas altogether.
They invited text messages and I sent the following text: ‘Re the JFK assassination, why are you not discussing the US Government finding in 1978 that ‘there probably was a conspiracy’ and the political implications of that?’
They read out a few text messages on the show but, of course, not mine.
One of the panelists on the programme managed to mention the alleged affair between Jackie and RFK.
It’s reassuring to live in a country where the citizens are kept so well informed.

If it ain't Lady Gaga, it doesn't make the news.
Unless it can further besmirch JFK and RFK. Then you hear about it every time there is something else they want to distract your attention from. And heaven knows, there's plenty right now.
Speaking of Bob Woodward. I had to laugh my ass off when he came out with that hokey comparison between Obama and JFK re the military in 2009. Really, Bob? Next, maybe you'll want to tell us the Brooklyn Bridge is for sale?
