[solved]forum closure date
Sat 23 Dec 2023, 11:10 am
I am aiming for Dec 30 (my time) - a week from today. It will probably take me that long to figure out the best way to do it so that it remains open for reading.
I'll take this opportunity to wish one and all a great festive season and a full and happy new year.
"
To those who have taken part (past and present) and contributed to making this place what it is - "thank you" hardly seems adequate, but there it is.
Not going to say any more. Y'all know how I feel.

Thanks Greg for your hard work and for providing us with an excellent forum to discuss the JFK case. It will be missed. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Enjoy your retirement.

Never a better forum and you get the credit friend. I know you credit everyone else, but it all really boils down to your leadership, creativity, and integrity. Go forward proudly and know all best wishes follow you.

Nicely said Jake. Way too often Greg credits others on this forum when in fact a lot of the time the credit should go to him. As you've said it's his style, leadership, and integrity which deserves all the credit in the world. This Forum is without peer - the very best.Jake_Sykes wrote:Never a better forum and you get the credit friend. Agreed with all of the above. ROKC is the best JFK research forum on the internet, and Greg deserves all the credit in the world. I really hope the same quality of research/collaboration and all the great threads here can continue somewhere else.

As someone who just started all of this and is new to the forum, I am sad to hear this, but understand that all good things must come to an end. I hope the site stays up for as long as it can. I search it frequently. I will miss the high level of discourse had here.
I hope that perhaps some of the posters here will move to the Ed Forum, for all of its faults. It can be useful from time to time, even if it is flooded with a lot of nonsense. But I hope that the logical and astute people here won't stop contributing. If y'all end up moving somewhere else, let me know

Thanks for all the effort you put into this, Greg.
There have been many ground-breaking and thought-provoking contributions on ROKC down the years.
