Please posts suggestions for poll questions here.

We will select the best and run the polls. After they close, myself (or some kind volunteer!) will translate the results into a Positions Paper reflecting what is broadly agreed upon within this forum.

What kind of conspiracy was involved in the JFK assassination, perhaps in the form of a matrix comprising sponsors, facilitators and mechanics?

A)  Oswald alone;

or

B)  Conspiracy involving Oswald;

or

C)  Conspiracy that didn't include Oswald;

or

D)  Single shooter who wasn't Oswald.

That's the most fundamental question, I think  All else flows from that.

I would qualify B) as

B1) Conspiracy with Oswald as the shooter
B2) Conspiracy with Oswald as one of the shooters
B3) Conspiracy with Oswald knowingly involved, but not as a shooter
B4) Conspiracy with Oswald not knowingly involved

I think Robert is correct. All other questions flow from whatever the result is from his question e.g. If "B" is the majority answer, then Albert's question can be polled. Also, depending on the result, questions on what type of conspiracy may become relevant.

Since this is to gain an insight on where the membership stands, unlike previous polls it will not be open to guests. It will run for 30 days only. Please vote.

Greg, perhaps the precise meaning of C) could be stated a little more clearly.  There is a fine line between B4) and C).

I think it would have to be an "evolutionary" thing, that is, more distinctions will be made as it proceeds. Since we might get down to very specific individuals and roles played, scenarios, etc, there would be a need for more polls to address opinions about the various distinctions. So I agree, start with broad and general and then pare it down to ever more specific details.

I always think it's important to be aware of the what was clearly military/CIA cooperation and complicity; I would support this as one poll choice, however it fits, because of the complexity of the plot and the necessity of seeing these multiple hands in the pot.
