You are probably asking yourself why am I being contacted and what the heck is a Prayer Man.

The reason I am contacting you is to begin a dialogue with you about the project.
Anyone can help by lending his name, provide an introduction to the film or simply add insight and help get the best possible images and materials.

What is a Prayer Man?
Sean Murphy, a researcher studying the JFK assassination, has not only proved that Lee Harvey Oswald told the truth about his actions on November 22nd 1963, but has located him exactly where he said he was when Kennedy was shot. Now you may say but that is just a grainy photo. I would of course agree as would Sean Murphy. The image quality is not the end of the road for this subject.

These are frames from NBC photographer Dave Weigman and James Darnell whom were in a camera car in the presidential motorcade. Darnell captured a few seconds of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) steps and doorway on film seconds after the shooting. This frame is a split second before Officer Baker runs towards those steps and into history.
In those frames we can see the employees of the TSBD and using their statements to the Dallas Police, FBI, Secret Service, and Warren Commission we can tell where each person stood and who they are.
By a detailed process of elimination Sean Murphy has noted each employee on those steps except one.
Of course you may say, but could not that person be a stranger.
No.
The FBI specifically asked every employee if they had seen a stranger. None did.
No one made any statements regarding seeing an unknown person in the building or on those steps.
Lets look again at the image and Prayer Man.

Prayer man is circled.
Lets zoom in.

Here we have a person on the top step whom was not identified by the Warren Commission, or any other investigative body. We have employees standing feet away, yet none claim this was an stranger.

Whom was on those steps? Buell Wesley Frazier. Here he is circled.

Frazier was shown this image by Gary Mack the curator of the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas.
Mr. Frazier did not identify the person as a stranger, oddly through Gary, he claimed it might be Frazier's supervisor:
William Hoyt "Bill" Shelley.
Sean Murphy responded to Gary Mack with enthusiasm as Frazier did not say it was a stranger, bolstering the research Sean had done, proving that no strangers were on the steps. Frazier in his miss identification basically locked the case for it being an employee. Shelley was not standing where Prayer Man is. Shelley left the steps with another employee and went down Elm street extension to see what happened.

Other employees verify this.
This is not Bill Shelley. Bill wore a white dress shirt and black tie and looks nothing like Prayer Man among many other points of contention. Prayer Man is in workers clothes not the supervisors attire this is readily apparent.

When Sean eliminated all employees whom were black, female, absent, no where near the steps, or those ID'd on the steps in these images during the assassination he was left with one name,

Lee Harvey Oswald.

Sean decided to take his research to a bunch of skeptics, lone nutters and 'Oswald did it' types. Experts on the assassination. In other words he entered a lions den with his Prayer Man research. Try as they might the naysayers fell by the wayside. None could disprove that person in the corner of the TSBD vestibule was anyone but an employee, and thus by default were left with Oswald as the only candidate.

Lets see how Prayer Man (a term coined by Sean to describe PM's posture, as though praying) looks compared to Oswald.

Again we are not basing the ID on a grainy photo. We are basing it on facts, statements, ID's by those on the steps of themselves and those around them on those steps, FBI interviews, and all the other materials relating to that day in November '63. Sean's research is thoroughly documented in the books along with all the attempts to undermine it that failed miserably.

This is based on reasoning, logic, and mathematics, and not a fuzzy pic and warm feelings.

It is Lee Harvey Oswald standing exactly where he told Captain Fritz of the Dallas Police he was standing, and Fritz's notes corroborate this, and so do the FBI's James Bookout's notes of the interrogation.

The DVD Special Edition, Beyond 'JFK' segment Directed by Barbara Kopple used footage of NBC photographers Dave Wiegman's and James Darnell.
Oliver Stones production company Ixtalan had been contacted and they held no rights to the footage since it was not used in JFK.

The original films and rights are held by NBC Universal Clips. I have licensed the clip, but they are using a 1970's 3/4" vhs tape as the master copy, instead I asked for the original celluloid which was transfered to make the vhs tape.

I asked NBC Universal execs that a 4k scan of the film be done by contractor of their choosing and I would pay for the scan as long as I got a copy. Their response was "The powers that be have denied access to that film"... wow, a two second clip of the doorway of the Texas School Book Depository is off limits, even when I am paying, and in fact this would preserve the film forever. No they are withholding it preventing further study.

The images I have shown you above are low resolution copies, several generations.
Imagine the quality of a 4k scan of the original film, imagine seeing clearly Prayer Man and whom he is beyond a visual shadow of a doubt.
Does this prospect scare you?

Again we don't need it, but the slow and dumb do need to see it
Naysayers need it, as the poor quality vhs tape is their only hope for it not being Oswald.
This puts Lee where his alibi said he was "Out with Bill Shelley in front"

If it was not Lee Harvey Oswald up in the sixth floor window shooting a rifle, then the whole tale in the Warren Commission report is garbage and a known lie. How do you feel about being lied to?

Assistance with obtaining the highest possible images are my goal, not Sean's.
Sean stopped posting his research after a year of battling those lions and when no more lions came to the fight.
Sean stopped posting on 11/22/2013 the fifty year anniversary of the assassination of JFK.

He had proved his point.

We have taken up the fight and want the world to see Oswald was innocent through the work of Sean Murphy.

Recent revelations about Henry Wade the Dallas District Attorney and the Dallas Police have shown that 24 innocent individuals were either jailed for years, some got life sentences, some were executed like Tommy Lee Walker.
All proven innocent, all falsely accused and imprisoned under Henry Wade. All had a solid alibi, were with family, friends but all were railroaded alibi or not.

Wade had kept all the evidence which was DNA in nature, this proved those arrested and convicted were not the criminals, but the DA and his cops were. They would use faulty eye witnesses to gain convictions, withhold evidence, intimidate counter witnesses, stack the jury and many more strong arm tactics. Wade would do almost anything to win a conviction. Please don't take my word for it. Google Henry Wade, the man whom brought us Roe vs. Wade, the man whom put innocent folks in prison or worse. Check the Innocence Project of Dallas county TX.

You see when you have the luxury of time how different things eventually turn out, you learn more, dispel fables and start to see the whole "picture."

We are seeing the whole picture more than 50 years later.
Oswald had an alibi, and was caught ever so briefly on film.
After those many years of digging we have learned much about Lee Oswald, his intelligence activities, his provoking Cuban groups, his trip to Russia, his contacts, false defectors and much more.
Strangely the ones whom keep the fairly tales alive are the Main Stream Media. Why?
Because its a state secret, and the media is a tool of the government. The media has committed defamation against Lee Oswald, declaring him the guilty party while the Darnell and Weigman clip was sold to many outlets and other news corporations the assassination weekend, even shown on tv, all attempts to obtain an film original are prevented.
So the Media knows better, has evidence which would settle the matter, have been approach in a business interest, agreed to licence the film, but offer poor material.
To NBC the case is closed, Lee is guilty and will say so.... but dont ask about 2 seconds of film that say otherwise.

Lee was not a murderer, he was murdered. He left behind a family, two daughters, a wife, his brothers and worst of all his mother. No mother should have ever been put through what she was put through.

Its time to right this wrong. Step up and fight for justice, the truth, and an America that died with John F Kennedy.

The fact that nbc admits it has celluloid film of this and yet drags its feet to preserve or allow study is ludicrous.
Next appearance before congress where the execs ask for money for education it should be met with calls for Darnell and Wiegman studies first as no brains channel has not been a good citizen and allow education from its own films locked away.

in all honesty I am more interested in high res scans of the snippit of Wiegman's second swerve. They will tell us what we need to know I am afraid Darnell is too blurry.

We don't need the whole Darnell film. I only want one frame from the original/first generation film to be scanned.

A 4K scan of THIS FRAME should confirm whether or not this is Oswald.

Yes Stan, that is the best frame. The fact that the pattern in the concrete panels along the side of the building are in good focus proves it. In the rest, they, and of course the PM/Oswald figure, are blurry. 

I swear, the attention PM gets is the reason the volume gets turned way up on all the other ridiculous nonsense that gets amplified and discussed. 

Getting this scan would end it now, one way or the other. It's the last dangling indicator that could make the case go conspiracy. All the rest of the threads have been tied off or cut off. Each and every one of them has been dead ended. So why the resistance with this one? Somebody KNOWS what it's going to show. "I'm sorry that one aspect of the evidence has received quite inadequate attention, except perhaps from Leo Sauvage in his book The Oswald Affair, and that is Oswald's alibi..."

1967. So it's only taken 50 years for anyone to pick up that ball and run with it.

No one, not Sylvia Meagher nor anyone else who questioned the woefully sloppy WC could circumvent the audaciousness of what we we have come to believe is the lie of the 2nd floor encounter. Two witnesses to say it was so, a systematic subversion(ish) of contradictory statements, and of course the prompt death of Oswald, all combined to effectively form an unassailable fortress for hiding truth. And then there was Prayer Man; the fortress is cracked.

Give me the pioneer research oldies any time over the sad lot of pompous arseholes over at other forums. Present company excluded of course. Sauvage and Meagher were onto something way back when they didn't have much to go on really except a nose for bullshit. I'd encourage any new students to this case to read their stuff first rather than gulp what's on offer elsewhere. At least for comparative purposes. ROKC, if anything, has honoured their work and extended on it to a large degree while other sites have gone out of their way to ignore it.

I will never understand the terrible fighting that has went on in the community....I mean I cannot express how excited I was to read Murphy's research in the Ed. Forum, or Barts, Greg's and Gokay's, etc....I mean new developments should be welcomed and examined carefully by all members of the community and frankly, we ought to always be unified....it makes no sense and frankly I smell rotten things at the core of such division unfortunately but we carry on...

Responding directly to the topic: My assumption is that.....(sigh) if there is any way that PM is LHO (I lean towards it being him than not but I'm open to being educated or wrong) but if there is any way that this could become definitely proven in the affirmative...I am not confident we will get such confirmation, be it visually or whatever. It pisses me off but you guys know how it is...this is why Greg has to write up letters to NBC, etc....I mean seriously? It is shameful he has to even do that. I would absolutely love to see a restored film and have better clarity to see who PM is....I mean look at the comparison Stan created! That is insane and would, FAR moreso than not, give us a MUCH better ID of PM. I am just not hopeful we'll receive such high quality versions of those films but goodness I hope I am dead wrong.

It'd be nice to get confirmation but on a personal level I don't much need it. I'm 100% sure PM is Oswald. If he wasn't we'd have a clearer scan by now.

As things stand as they now are (i.e. the status quo prevails), we WON'T get any help to confirm the identity of PM. They have inertia on their side.
 
But history is full of extraordinary happenings that run counter to inertia, inexplicable and stunning turns of events that drastically changed the course of history.
 
It'll happen someday, maybe not on our watch, but it'll happen. Probably when least expected.
