First topic message reminder :
I'm curious to know why no one is interested in Boris Pash? A man who lied to Church Senate Committee about his retirement to cover up his knowledge of Oswald

Psychiatric Report Jack Ruby
Young Jack soon showed the effects of parental discord. On June 6, 1922, at the age of 11, he was referred to the Institute for Juvenile Research by the Jewish Social Service Bureau. The reason for the referral was "truancy and incorrigible at home." 45 On July 10, 1922, the institute recommended to the bureau that Jack be placed in a new environment where his characteristics might be understood and where he might be afforded the supervision and recreation that would end his interest in street gangs.46 In March 1923, the institute advised the bureau that "placement in a home, where intelligent supervision and discipline can be given" was appropriate.47
The institute's psychiatric examination, which served as a basis for these recommendations, took place in 1922, prior to the advent of many techniques and theories of modern psychiatry,48 but it is the most objective evidence of Jack Ruby's childhood character. According to the psychiatric report, Jack was "quick tempered" and "disobedient." 49 He frequently disagreed openly with his mother, whom he considered an inferior person with whose rules he did not have to comply.50 Jack told the institute's interviewer that he ran away from home because his mother lied to him and beat him.51 Although Mrs. Rubenstein was severe with her children, she was described as totally incapable of coping with them "because of their delinquencies, i.e., principally their destructive tendencies and disregard for other people's property." 52 His mother's "extreme temperament" and quarrelsomeness were cited as possible causes of Jack's "bad behavior." 53

To me the most refilling part of Pash's testimony to Church Cimmittee (page 59)was his trip to South America to recruit expat (natzi) for training school in Central (panama) America'
The School of the Americas was first established as the U.S. Army Caribbean Training Center in Panama in 1946 to help professionalize Latin American and Caribbean militaries. The SOA was founded as a combat school focused on counterinsurgency techniques. Rather than contributing to the development of democracy in the region, the SOA actually taught methods that undermined and destroyed democratic values
The U.S. General Accounting Office conducted an investigation into the SOA in 1996 revealing that the school used training manuals advocating torture, "truth serum" to extract confessions, false imprisonment, bounty hunting, blackmail and execution. Pentagon officials initially claimed they had no idea what had been going on at the SOA, because the staff members assigned to review SOA teaching manuals couldn't read enough Spanish to understand what they said.

This is fascinating as it sounds similar to what Ozzie went through as a "troubled youth" some twenty years later.
I wonder if Ruby might not have been someone's project from an earlier period of the same mind-game people that played with Ozzie.
And I also wonder if they might not be able to lead us back to those that were controlling Leon Czolgosz?

Mr. BALL - What--where is the employment agency and what is its name when you first applied for a job?

Mr. BALL - In Dallas?
Mr. FRAZIER - No, sir; in Irving. '
Mr. BALL - How did you happen to get that job?
Mr. FRAZIER - Well, I went to see, first I come up there and started looking for a job and couldn't find one myself so I went to one of these employment agencies and through that a lady called up one morning, I was fixing to go out and look for one, I was looking for myself in the meantime when they were, too, and so she called up and gave me a tip to it if I was interested in a job like that I could go over there and see about that and for the time being I wasn't working and needed some money and so I did and I went over there and saw Mr. Truly, and he gave me an interview, and then he hired me the same day I went over there.

Mr. BALL - When Mr. Truly hired you did he tell you it would be a full-time job or just a temporary job?
Mr. FRAZIER - No, sir; he told me that he was looking for somebody full time and I told him, well, that is what I wanted, and so he said that would be just fine.
Mr. BALL - How much did he start to pay you?
Mr. FRAZIER - He started me off with a dollar and a quarter an hour.

A recurring theme in Pash testimony to Church Committee was the planning of using Cossacks in Alaska as front line troops. He went as far as stating that he read resently that Government was going to send Doukhobors to Alaska. I had to laugh because i have relatives who our Doukhobors and i know its against there religion to join any army

The institute's psychiatric examination, which served as a basis for these recommendations, took place in 1922, prior to the advent of many techniques and theories of modern psychiatry,48 but it is the most objective evidence of Jack Ruby's childhood character. The "Institute for Juvenile Research" was known originally as the "Juvenile Psychopathic Institute". The name change simply reflected a more intense focusing on "research", particularly in the area of delinquency among East European immigrant families. There was a close relationship between this institute and the Michael Reese hospital where Ruby's mother spent quite a bit of time, and was eventually "outed" in the Clinton era as a place that conducted human radiation experiments on unsuspecting patients. Ruby's mother was transferred at least twice from memory from Micheal Reese to the State Mental hospital.
A similar concern about truancy among immigrants swept NY at around the same time... and in stepped the Lavanburg Foundation run by the Staus family (members of which were later connected to CIA/Rosenbergs/Paines), building and operating immigrant housing projects... and Youth House.

Yes, it reminded me a lot of what was in Lee Harvey Oswald's Cold War. I'm glad to see that you have already looked into the similarities with what Ruby went through.

Orville Nix, version 1 (AVI, 3.41 MB
Orville Nix was interviewed in 1966 by investigator Mark Lane for his documentary Rush to Judgment. In a filmed interview undertaken by Lane, he also stated that the film he received back was not identical to the one that he shot. He told Lane that at the time of the assassination, he believed that the shots came from behind the fence on the grassy knoll, but was later told that conclusive proof existed that shots only came from the Texas School Book Depository and that he was convinced by this.He was also interviewed by CBS News in 1967 for a television documentary on the Kennedy assassination.

The most powerful act of defiance that day was Jackie refusing to change her bloodstained dress when LBJ was sworn in. Not only was it highly symbolic but I am sure she gained much of her strength of character from that single gesture. She may have been in shock but her purpose was clear.gerrrycam wrote:She found it too painful to see so much as an image of her husband’s face—the face she had been looking into when the fatal bullet struck.

Gayle Nix- Jackson’s new book ‘Orville Nix: The Missing Assassination Film’ (Semper Ad Meliora Publishing, 2014), details the story of her grandfather Orville Nix and how he came to record the assassination of JFK. “I did this project for him, to tell his story”, explains Gayle. Orville brought his new Keystone Auto-Zoom Model K810 8mm movie camera to the corner of Main and Houston, and sought to document the presidential motorcade making its way to the Stemmons Freeway en route to the International Trade Mart, where the president was set to make a speech. We all now know in painful retrospect the words of that speech would now be forever silenced.

Nix-Jackson informs us that Secret Service agent Forrest Sorrels was a friend of her grandfather, and told him where to stand in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963. “I truly believe it was Forrest Sorrels who determined the parade route”, she said. Some published accounts had the motorcade traveling a slightly different path, but Orville trusted the word of his friend Sorrels. Orville Nix only had a fourth grade education, and worked as an air conditioner engineer for the General Services Administration in Dallas. Nix was, however, a sharp poker player, and well versed in the game of golf. This was the avenue that led him to friendship with an important agent like Sorrels, and to allow him to receive such information from him.
Sorrels advising Nix where to stand on that fateful day may raise some eyebrows, and stir up thoughts on his intentions. Gayle Nix relates that Sorrels was “a kind man, and very professional.” Nix-Jackson clearly states that Sorrels “was innocent” of having any involvement in a plot that day. Sorrels was in the lead car in the motorcade with DPD Chief Jesse Curry and Sheriff Bill Decker. Had he known of the events to transpire, he would not have knowingly ventured into the path of gunfire on that afternoon.
During a phone conversation from work not long after Kennedy’s murder, Nix related to Sorrels that he heard shots coming from the stockade fence. Sorrels replied that, “I thought they came from there, too”. Sorrels explained that he dared not “start a war between the Secret Service, and the Dallas Police Department”. The implication being that the DPD wanted the killing blamed on the ‘lone nut’ from behind, and that they were pressured from higher up to state the case as such.
Orville Nix viewed the film he shot between 40 and 60 times at the Dynacolor Film Lab, viewing it “on a plain white wall” at their facility, related Gayle. After having conferred with Sorrels, he delivered the film to the FBI on December 1st, 1963, along with his camera. The agency would return the film in a few days, and the camera disassembled in five months. Most interestingly, according to Gayle, after the return of his movie, Orville “thought it was different upon return”. The camera would never function properly again, but came with a replacement Keystone Capris model as a token consolation.
In another twist in the story, Abraham Zapruder was friends with George de Mohrenschildt. George de Mohrenschildt was in the oil business, and is thought by many to be an agency handler for Lee Harvey Oswald upon his moving to the Dallas area from New Orleans. Zapruder, of course, shot the main footage we see of JFK’s assassination. Zapruder was paid 150 thousand dollars for his film, while Orville Nix would receive only $5,000 from UPI (later in 1999, heirs to Zapruder would be compensated to the tune of 16 million dollars for his film). Further, de Mohrenschildt’s wife Jeanne had worked with Abraham Zapruder in his clothing business. Dallas, indeed, seems to be getting smaller and smaller all the time. The more we delve into the list of players making Zapruder's acquaintance we find the the likes of D.H. Byrd, George Bush, Neil Mallen, and Earl Cabell. Dallas was as small a world as Disney ever would know, it seems. The relationships make one wonder if someone had also told Mr. Zapruder where to stand to get the main event on camera for posterity. KURT PLOTNER, EUGENE VON HAAGEN, AND BORIS PASH. Another big catch by the United States was Kurt Plotner who was a Nazi physician assigned to the concentration camp at Dachau. Plotner took Polish and German prisoners and injected them with mescalin in order to evaluate their schizophrenic behavior. American intelligence also landed Dr. Eugene von Haagen who had been a colleague of Pash. Von Haagen had headed the Nazis' biological weapons unit during World War II. Boris Pash recruited him into the Paperclip program where he used his expertise in germ warfare research for five years. Von Haagen had worked with Kurt Blome in Germany, and in the late 1940s he was tried at Nuremberg for medical war crimes which included infecting hundreds of prisoners with tuberculosis and bubonic plague. After he was acquitted, Blome was recruited by the CIA and was assigned to the Paperclip Program at Camp King near Washington D.C. Soon thereafter, he was arrested by French authorities, convicted of war crimes, and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Pash was appointed head of Program Branch/7 (PB7) where he conducted more research into interrogation techniques. He was responsible for planning kidnappings as well as the interrogation and murder of suspected double-agents. Pash researched the works of Nazi doctors whose efforts at Dachau helped induce confessions from prisoners. He studied the effects which psychotherapy, hypnosis, electro-shock, and speech-inducing drugs had on Dachau inmates.
In 1948, the CIA became part of the newly created military Medical Intelligence Organization. The agency was put in charge of "foreign, atomic, biological, and chemical intelligence, from medical science's point of view." The Scientific Intelligence Committee and the Joint Medical Science Intelligence Committee authorized the CIA engaged in "body-snatching," collecting 1,500 corpses -- some with and others without the permission of relatives -- and taking tissue and bone samples from people who had been exposed to fallout from nuclear tests in the Nevada desert.

Pash had a Japanese ALSOS Project that included Dr Ishii in 1946
After noting that the Geneva Protocol of 1925 prohibited "the use of bacteriological methods of warfare," a young Japanese army officer and bacteriologist, Dr. Shiro Ishii, nonetheless convinced his superiors in 1935 that he be allowed to research the many potentialities of germ warfare. By 1937, the ambitious Ishii had established a vast germ warfare complex in Pingfan, a small village outside the Manchurian city of Harbin. The complex, innocuously dubbed Unit 731, was composed of over 150 buildings and nearly 3,500 researchers and employees.
